@Quintus4494, I am not sure where you got that information from. Yes, the C2 generally has slightly higher stats than the M1. But that doesn’t mean it is better in battle. Tanks are clearly not for urban guerilla warfare. Of course, the Iraqi T-72s were outdated, outclassed, with poor care due to decades of sanctions. And they said Iraq was a threat, lol. The M1 has an excellent combat record for now.
Oldergods…”.jingoism rampant amongst Brits!. Pot calling the kettle black I think.
RPG strike on the Challenger was LOWER hull…not the strongest part of the tank.Penetrated steel, not chobham. You keep banging on about No Abrams been destroyed. But so many put out of action with simple RPG’s..thats objective achieved in my books. Define destroyed for me?Tank has to be vapourised?

Nice retarded statistic dude where you pull it from your ass?
RPG7 has NEVER destroyed an Abrams. RPG-Anything has never destroyed an Abrams.
RPG29 has pierced the frontal hull of a Challenge 2. The front hull is the strongest part of a tank.
Abrams has been hit by Hellfire and Maverick anti-tank guided missiles and was not destroyed.
You people severely underestimate our tank, only because of the inane jingoism that’s rampant among Brits me thinks.

Every single allied country used M4 Shermans. Even Russia.

Every country is guilty of it. Perhaps it’s better to address the individual rather than group everyone together.

By “destroyed”, whoever you’re replying to probably means on fire or blown up with no guys inside that are alive.
